Kit
Kestrelstar was a spirited young kit, full of energy and always asking questions. She didn't know who her mother was, so she just followed the other kits and the clan queens around until she was old enough to find her way around. She quickly discovered trees and picked up climbing by watching other kits. Despite being a slow learner, she somehow survived and got her apprentice ceremony.
Apprentice
As an apprentice, Kestrelstar was most content as she had a mentor to answer her questions and teach her more. She was good at climbing, being relatively agile. Hunting was the problem for her, because her bright fur made it hard to camouflage. Her mentor, an ex-loner by the name of Stone, taught her how to hunt easier prey, but it is still a problem for her.
Warrior
Her warrior life was when she noticed her social insecurities for the first time. After living most of her life till that point in solidarity, with the exception of a few select friends, she had no idea how to interact with cats in the much larger warrior's den. She made no new friends, and even lost a few. This made her slightly bitter, but she is getting over it.
Leader
Kestrelstar doesn't feel like she was destined to be leader. She regularly questions her abilities to lead the clan, since she never received messages from StarClan until she had her warrior ceremony. She believes that CloudClan has a plan for her that doesn't stop at being a leader and this is just an experience she must have.
