Is it Enough to Breath -O-

[Chillkit]

The morning breeze ruffled Chillkit's multicolored fur, chilling his patched pelt. Slowly he opened his icy blue eyes, the clan was so quiet. Sadly he thought to himself about having other kits to play with, although he knew he was pretty much the only one, it was so lonely. Being a sort of loner kit and never knowing his mother he made his way out of the nursery and into the open air of the camp, one warrior stirred and stalked out to the territory, Chillkit being quite surprised there was someone out.

Walking over to the shade of a tree he sheltered himself, preparing for the warm and humid day to come. "Where is everyone." He grumbled, digging his claws into the cool soil. Why was he the only one?

[Gentlestar]

Pebbledawn padded put of her den. She was in the mood for some play time with the kits, her favorite cats in the entire Clan. Ever since she became a medicine cat, SH had had less and less time to play with the little scraps of fur and had to focus more on her work. She looked around and spotted a grey and white Tom. "Hey there.", she meowed gently, approaching him. "My name is Pebbledawn, what might yours be?", she asked, sitting down and wrapping her tail around her paws.

Chillkit looked up at a white she cat with dazzling blue eyes. He guessed she was the medicine cat due to her strong scent of herbs. "Hi," He mewed plainly, sitting up and putting on ear down, wondering what the med cat would do next.

[Gentlestar]

Pebbledawn smiled. "Sp what's your name?", she asked again gently, maybe the kit hadn't heard her. "Oh you are sooooo.......cute!"

(Sorry, lazy.)

He kept his gaze on her, "Chillkit." The patch pelted Tom wasn't much for talking but he would talk anyways. The med cat seemed nice enough anyways. Drawing in a breath he asked. "So how's being a medicine cat?"

[Gentlestar]

"Wow, how did you know?", she asked. How could this to y,it know? "Was it from the scent of herbs?", she asked. Maybe it was. "But to answer your question, it is pretty fun, healing cats, and having prey brought to me. Say, I'm looking for a new apprentice, do you think you might want to be a medicine cat when you grow up?", she asked.

[Chillkit]

Chillkit shrugged, "I don't know, is it really for male cats?" He wondered what the other clan members would think of him being a medicine cat. Chill had always thought of it as a shecat thing but maybe a Tom could be good at it too.

[Gentlestar]

"Oh yes, trust me, there have been many toms in medicine cat history, probably even more than she-cats for that matter.", she meowed.

[Chillkit]

"Um, come back to me on that." He mewed calmly, eyes showing no emotion, face blank like white paper. "Is the medicine den warm?"

[Gentlestar]

"Oh yes, very war,.", she said with a smile. "And there is a nice cool spring in the back, you don't have to go anywhere to get water, and other cats bring you food."

[Chillkit]

Chillkit snickered a bit, "Yeah come back to me on that." He flicked his tail and got to his paws, "can I see the den?"

[Gentlestar]

"Sure!", she said with a warm smile. "Right this way!", she laughed and padded over to the medicine den. "We'll, how do you like it?", she asked.

[Chillkit]

Chillkit padded in, glancing around and in taking all the scents. It definitely smelled of herbs. Padding to the nests in the corner he sniffed them. "Think these need to be cleaned yet?" He mewed.

[Gentlestar]

Pebbledawn hadn't thought of that for a while. "Why, yes, I suppose so.", she meowed. "I was hoping that one of the apprentices would take some time and do it later today.", she said.

[Chillkit]

Chillkit had never met one if the apprentices before. "Why don't you have an apprentice then?" He mewed, being a bit nosy and tilting his head as he asked.
