It was finally time. Pebbledawn's best friend, Kestrelfire, was becoming leader of SeaClan. She knew that her friend was hesitant, but Pebbledawn knew that she would make a great leader. She was also given the honor of giving the new leader her 'ceremony' as some might call it, but not exactly. It was more like announcing her new name. She took a deep breath, and stepped onto Highrock.
"Let all cats old enough to catch fish, gather a Clan meeting.", she yowled. Now that this Clan would have a leader, she would not give that many ceremonies any more. Of course she could, but it wasn't necessary. "I would like to announce our leader, Kestrelstar!", she said. "Kestrelstar, Kestrelstar, Kestrelstar, Kestrelstar!", she cheered as she waited for her leader to come out and the rest of the Clan to cheer.
